Author Instructions

The International Journal for Research in Media & Communication (IJRMC) welcomes the submission of original, high-quality scholarly manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of media studies, communication research, journalism, and related interdisciplinary fields. The journal aims to promote innovative research, critical analysis, and scholarly discussion addressing the evolving role of media and communication in contemporary society.

Authors are requested to carefully follow the guidelines below to ensure an efficient review and publication process.

Types of Manuscripts Accepted

All submissions must demonstrate originality, scholarly contribution, methodological rigor, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

Manuscript Submission

All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal’s official submission system available on the journal website.

By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that:

  • The work is original and has not been previously published.

  • The manuscript is not currently under consideration by another journal.

  • All listed authors have made significant academic contributions to the work.

  • All authors have reviewed and approved the submitted version of the manuscript.

Paper Format Template

Authors are advised to follow the structure below when preparing their manuscript:

  • Title of the Paper (Bold, 14 pt)

  • Author(s) Name(s) with Affiliation(s)

  • Abstract (150–250 words)

  • Keywords (4–6 keywords)

  • Introduction

  • Literature Review (if applicable)

  • Research Methodology / Methods

  • Results and Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • Acknowledgements (if any)

  • References (APA Format)

Formatting Requirements

To maintain consistency and professional presentation, manuscripts must adhere to the following formatting standards:

  • Font: Times New Roman

  • Font Size: 12 pt (Title: 14 pt Bold)

  • Line Spacing: 1.5

  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides

  • Alignment: Justified

  • Page Numbers: Bottom center or bottom right

Tables, charts, and figures must be clearly numbered and cited within the text. Captions should be concise, descriptive, and academically appropriate.
